New Menu at The Crown at Pantygelli

The Crown are launching their warming Autumn menu - which feels appropriate after all the rain we’d had! Dishes include wild boar, tomato, and red wine ragu, baked portobello mushroom stuffed with chestnuts and honey, spiced crème brûlée with homemade shortbread.

Monthly Night Market

The penultimate Thursday of the month means the night market will be running in town. Regular vendors include: The Dugout Cafe Bar, The Mex Co, Little Dragon Pizza, Sugarloaf Catering, Cluckin’ Bull, Mr Gyro, K&K Kitchen, Noodles in a Box, Spice Up The Valley, Smoke & Slaw, Vanity Waffles, Roti Shack, Antur Brew Co.

The team at Antur consistently work hard bringing vendors to Abergavenny on the weekends. Get there this weekend for tacos, loaded trays, wings, pulled meats, and Yorkshire pudding wraps.

Festival at Penpont

This family run estate set on the banks of the River Usk in the Brecon Beacons is hosting a festival on the weekend. It’s a celebration of folk music, food, local beers and cocktails. Gracing the Courtyard Stage they welcome the folk-inspired psychedelic dance troop The Wanton String Band, supported by a line-up of folk artists. Food available will include tacos courtesy of The Mex Co and Malaysian curries. Tickets are still available here.

  • All served with Wye Valley Honey Roasted Carrots and Parsnips, Garlic and Thyme Roasted Potatoes, Seasonal Greens, Cauliflower Cheese and Rich Pan Gravy.
