Week Seventeen at The Shire
What’s going on in Abergavenny this week?
The Vine Tree
December menu has dropped at The Vine Tree and if you haven’t paid a visit since Connor Turner took the reigns, I strongly suggest you do. You can see Jake’s thoughts from a blog piece back in October:
The Beefy Boys at The Crown and Sceptre
Fresh from a trip to Indianapolis to compete in the World Food Championships, The Beefy Boys will be at The Crown and Sceptre tonight from 5pm - 8:30pm. Feels surreal you can get the 4th best burger in the world at a car park up the Mardy.
Beaujolais Day
Beaujolais Day marks the first bottles each year of Beaujolais Nouveau wine to be produced at the start of the season. The occasion will be marked in the calendar tomorrow. Madame Fromage are open until 6pm with a special French menu and of course, Beaujolais wine. The Bluebell Country Inn have a special set menu and live entertainment.
